We’re supporting a valued client with the recruitment of a Head of Health, Safety, Sustainability, Environment & Quality (HSSEQ) for a major UK infrastructure business.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced HSSEQ professional with a strong background in construction, or power / transmission & distribution sector

The role will lead strategy and delivery across:

• Health & safety
• Sustainability and environmental performance
• Quality assurance and continuous improvement
• Governance, assurance and compliance
• Leadership of a multi-disciplinary HSSEQ team

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving Zero Harm, strengthening culture, improving assurance, and supporting delivery across complex national projects.

Ideal applicants will have:

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent Level 6 qualification
• Strong working knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001
• Significant HSSEQ leadership experience in the power sector
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and operational teams
• A track record in behavioural safety, incident investigation and continuous improvement

This is a full-time, permanent position with UK-wide travel.
